MB Funds are co-investors in the acquisition of Tikkurila CPS colourants business (MB Funds 24.8.2000)

The colourants business of Tikkurila CPS will be acquired from Kemira Oyj by a new company where Industri Kapital 2000 funds is the majority shareholder and the management, MB Funds and Kemira Oyj become minority owners.

Tikkurila CPS's colourants business is the world's leading supplier of advanced tinting systems. The systems are sold on all continents and customers consist of both paint stores and the paint industry. The business employs approximately 300 people and reported a turnover of EUR 75.5 Million in 1999.

The acquisition is subject to regulatory approvals.
